Privacy

Privacy without the theatre.

This notice explains what information JMCG Digital collects through this website, why it is used, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your data?

JMCG Digital Ltd is the data controller for personal information submitted through this website. If you have a privacy question or want to exercise one of your rights, use the contact form on the main website.

What information is collected?

If you use the contact form, the site may collect your name, company, email address, the type of help you are looking for, and whatever you choose to include in your message. Basic technical information such as IP address, browser information and security signals may also be processed by the website, hosting infrastructure and anti-spam services.

Why is it used?

Information is used to respond to enquiries, discuss potential work, manage any resulting business relationship, protect the website from spam or abuse, and meet legal or administrative obligations.

The principal legal bases are legitimate interests in operating and protecting the business and responding to genuine business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract where an enquiry develops into potential work.

Who processes it?

JMCG Digital uses a small number of service providers needed to operate the site and respond to enquiries. These currently include website hosting infrastructure, Cloudflare Turnstile for abuse prevention, and Google Workspace for business email. Providers may process limited personal or technical data only as required to provide those services.

International transfers

Some technology providers may process data outside the UK. Where this happens, the provider is expected to use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards required by applicable data protection law.

How long is information kept?

Enquiry data is kept only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage any resulting business relationship, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Information that is no longer needed is deleted as part of normal business housekeeping.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may process device and browser signals, and may use strictly necessary security technologies, to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of information you have provided. You can make a request through the website contact form.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you believe your personal information has been handled unlawfully.

No selling, profiling or automated decisions

Personal information submitted through this site is not sold to advertisers, used to build advertising profiles, or used for automated decision-making.
